FTP SERVER / HOST : ftp.yourdomain.com.au – For example: ftp.hostaway.net.au
FTP PORT : Port 21 – Some FTP clients require a port setting
USERNAME : yourdomain.com.au – For example: hostaway.net.au (Do not include the www.)
PASSWORD : Password is your secret code or phrase to secure your account – Have you forgotten your password?
UPLOAD FOLDER : /htdocs/ – Upload files into this folder to be viewable through your website.
Using a content management system (CMS) like WordPress? If you edit your site via a web browser using an Administrator page you are not using FTP, so the info on this page won’t apply. HostAway doesn’t manage the login details to CMS accounts (they will have been set by your web developer) however we can reset them for you if required.
